My son and I visited Chan Chan for the first time. First off, we ordered too much food. We ordered 3 dishes and took more than half of it home.

We had the Chan Chan chicken tenders. Just wonderful. The sauce was just right and the chicken was perfect. Then we had the Kimchi Rice Cake (bowl). It was spicy but we kept on eating it. And then we had the beef Kimbap which was a great combination of tastes.

I look forward to the leftovers!

Chan Chan is always a great place to stop by for Korean Fried Chicken and Kimbap! The food is delicious and priced well due to the large portions. Highly recommend!

The fried chicken at this restaurant is amazing. A large portion of fried chicken weighs a full 2 pounds and has a thick, crispy coating similar to Japanese tempura. Each order is made fresh, so the chicken comes out piping hot, juicy, and perfectly crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. Their sauces are also packed with flavor and complement the chicken perfectly. The kimbap they serve is also delicious, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. A large fried chicken plus one kimbap is enough to satisfy three adult men. They also offer free side dishes, with the pickled radish being particularly tasty—sweet, tangy, and satisfyingly crunchy.

If you love 한국 분식, then this is the place for you.

As one of Irvine's first establishments for elevated 분식, they're skilled in producing succulent 김밥, hardy 떡뻑기, and transcendent 비빔 국수.

Honorable mentions are the fried chicken and calamari (which is a bit of a misnomer because 오징어 is cuttlefish, not squid). The batter they use is akin to a beer batter, something with a nice crisp and heavy crunch.

This is one of my favorite Korean Food Restaurants. Everything just tastes so good in here, but my favorite dishes are chan chan gimbap and fried chicken with sweet garlic wings with sauce on the side. The waiting can be long sometimes depending on when you visit and finding parking spots can be a pain sometimes too but I guess it is not that bad now since Orobae is still closed at this moment when I am writing the review. The price is very affordable for students.
Overall, highly recommend this place.

冷麵不是平常吃到的那種是粗的但一樣有嚼勁湯頭也不錯（只是上菜的時候很訝異因爲跟平常看到的不一樣）然後份量超大！！！一個人絕對吃不完
炸雞外皮很厚很脆肉給的好大份！但醬沒怎麼辣（雖然我們點辣的）小菜都不錯吃味道很棒～
