I was in Kirkbride for close to 80 days, and I definitely had my issues, especially with my counselor(Shelia 😡) regardless, I'm still clean. At the end of the day these places are what you make of them. I'm grateful for Kirkbride.

I’ve tried numerous times to get into this place about six to be exact only once would I ever let in. Every other time they narcann me. I don’t know what the obsession with Narcan people is, but I’ve never had this issue with any other place even the hospital and then once they can you, they won’t let you in so I’m starting to think doing it on purpose to not have to accept people.

Facility it's OK. But the majority of the tecks really SUCK God forgive me but the food it's awful they just don't care it's all about they getting a check . I wish I can really give you a better picture of it but the word that describes them it's they suck they need to retain everybody that's if they where train . Welfare got tire of feeding them for 25 y + and put them here to work and in state road as correctional offers

Staff and female security guard stole belongings I dropped off on 10/11/24, lady at desk said you can't drop cigarettes off, it's one minute till 9 come back when it's 9am, then allied security lady came out of back office and suggested they split the cigarettes I dropped off. I was scared and left

Kirkbride must be the worse detox/rehabilitation/Hospital I've ever experienced!! Staff & Employees from the medical field are slacking or just don't wanna do their job and be bothered.. While I was there it was very hard for me to get any treatment.... I was the only person that had a treatment plan before I came to Kirkbride, I had a sponsor, home group and the best counselor and therapy group in the city, HANDS DOWN!!! THEY NEVER CHECKED MY LUNGS OR MY THYROID DISORDER so I was really upset and sad!!!! With a bad leg you would think that they would give me an emergency cane!?!? If yaw need a great outpatient methadose clinic...Come down to MERAKEY, at 4th and Berks!!!

I dropped off a patient and the initial experience was bad. Surly, lazy "security guard" acted like they were doing the world a favor just being there. Went to admittance window. Person there did not even acknowledge us, so we started walking down the hall. That's when the "admissions person" decided to actually engage with us. I had to almost INSIST that another employee take some information as to how to get in touch with me, after all, I am the patients EMERGENCY CONTACT . This place should be closed.
